Features

Block / Item Changes

  • Bonemeal now only boosts a crop by one stage per usage.
  • Beds will no longer skip the night.
  • Diamond Pickaxes can no longer be used to obtain Obsidian blocks.
  • Buckets will no longer be able to pick up lave source blocks.
  • Tree saplings can no longer be obtained from leaf blocks.
  • Wheat seeds can no longer be obtained from grass.

Overworld Changes

  • Silverfish block veins will now naturally spawn underground in any biome. (layers 1 - 120)
  • Obsidian blocks can now instead be found in 3-5 stacks within Village Blacksmith Chests
  • Wheat seeds and all types of saplings will now spawn in Mineshaft chests

Gravity Changes

The following blocks will be affected by gravity:

  • Grass
  • Dirt
  • Cobblestone (not mossy variants)
  • Cobblestone Stairs and Slabs
  • Cracked Stone Bricks
  • Wooden Planks and Slabs
  • Wooden Logs

Some of the blocks above might get removed from the list.


Crafting Changes

  • Golden Carrots and Glistening Melons now require Gold Ingots in their crafting recipes instead of Gold Nuggets

Mob Changes

The following domestic mobs now require more expensive items in order to breed:

Mob Breeding Item
Pigs & Rabbits Golden Carrots
Cows & Sheep Golden Apples
Chickens Glistening Melon Slices

However, you still have to use their original breeding food in order to boost their growth speed. These mobs will also follow both their original and their new breeding items.

Cow

  • The amount of leather dropping from a cow is now 1-2 instead of 0-2.

Wolf

  • Movement speed increased from 0.3 to 0.35.

Blaze

  • A Blaze’s melee attack will now set the target on fire for 4 seconds.

Creeper

  • Fuse time has been reduced from 30 ticks to 25 ticks (1.5s to 1.25 s).
  • Explosions will now produce fire.
  • Lightning Creepers will have their explosion power doubled in addtion to the flames.

Enderman

  • On death, 0-2 endermites will spawn at the death location.
  • Now drops 0-2 ender pears instead of just 0-1.

Evoker

  • Health increased from 24 to 50.

Spider

  • Spiders and cave spiders no longer take fall damage.
  • Spiders and cave spiders no longer drop string.
  • Movement speed increased from 0.3 to 0.35.
  • The chances for a spider jokey have been increased to ~7%-

Vindicator

  • Vindicators now have a 10% chance to spawn as an illusionist instead.

Zombie

  • Zombies outside of deserts now have a 20% chance to spawn as a husk instead.
  • Movement speed increased from 0.23 to 0.27. (excluding baby zombies)
  • Husk health has been increased from 20 to 25.
  • Husk attack damage has been increased from 4 to 6.

Zombie Pigman / Piglin

  • Zombie Pigmen how have a 6% chance to spawn as a creeper instead.

Skeleton

  • No longer drops bows when killed.
  • Skeletons outside of icy biomes now have an 8% chance to become Strays instead.
  • Skeletons in the nether will now spawn as wither-skeletons with bows. (flame arrows)

Slime / Magma Cube

  • No longer takes fall damage

Squid

  • Now has a 8% chance to spawn as a guardian instead.

Ghast

  • Health increased from 10 to 25.
  • Fireball explosion power has been increased from 1 to 2.
  • Fireballs can no longer be deflected, exploding immediately when attacked or hit by an arrows.

Witch

  • Health increased from 26 to 30.
  • Movement speed increased from 0.25 to 0.27.

Boss Changes

Elder guardian

  • Health increased from 80 to 100.

Ender Dragon

  • Health increased from 200 to 300.
  • Movement speed increased from 7.0 to 7.5.
  • Fireballs now create a power 1 explosion on impact in addition to the damaging clouds.

Wither

  • Movement speed increased from 0.6 to 0.65
  • Health increased from 300 to 400.
  • The power of the initial explosion has been increased to 10.
